For details, see: Handover Reports#End-of-Day (EOD) Report

* Punch Card Plans
* Punch Cards

Punch Card Plans
Punch Card plans are used to centrally configure and manage punch cards. Every punch card must belong to a punch card plan.

* Status: Sets the current status of the punch card plan. Available statuses include Draft, Active, Paused, and Ended. Punch Cards can only be issued under a punch card plan with an Active status.
* Validity Rule: Sets the default validity period for newly issued punch cards under the plan. You can select one of the following three validity rules:
** Fixed Date: All newly issued punch cards under the plan expire on a specified date and time.
*** For example: Set the expiry date and time to 31/12/2025 23:59.
** Fixed Period: Each newly issued punch card expires after a specified period calculated from its issue date.
*** For example: Set each punch card to expire one year after its issue date.
** Set Individually When Issued: The validity period of each punch card is set individually when the punch card is issued.
* Usage Count: The usage count for each punch card under this plan.
* Discount Value:
** If the punch card type is a Percentage Discount Punch Card: Sets the percentage discount that the punch card applies to an order.
*** For example: A value of 90% means that the customer pays 90% of the original price.
** If the punch card type is a Fixed-Amount Discount Punch Card: Sets the amount that the punch card deducts from an order.
*** For example: A value of $5 means that $5 will be deducted from an eligible order.
** If the punch card type is a Non-Discount Punch Card: Do not set this option.
* Advanced Options:
** Minimum Spend: Sets the minimum order amount required to use the punch card. The punch card can only be used when the order meets this requirement.
** Maximum Discount: Sets the maximum discount amount that can be provided by a single punch card.
*** For example: If the maximum discount is set to $50, applying a 50% discount punch card to a $200 order will deduct no more than $50, rather than $100.
** Issue Limit: Sets the maximum number of punch cards that can be issued under the punch card plan. Once this limit has been reached, no additional punch cards can be issued under the plan.
** Limit per Member: Sets the maximum number of punch cards under the plan that each member may receive or hold.
** Applicable Products: Sets the products to which the punch card can be applied. When the punch card is used, only the selected products are included when determining whether the punch card conditions have been met, and only those products are eligible for the discount.
** Excluded Products: Sets the products to which the punch card cannot be applied. When the punch card is used, the selected products are not included when determining whether the punch card conditions have been met and are not eligible for the discount.

Punch Cards
A punch card is an individual discount voucher issued under a punch card plan.

* Expiry Date: The date and time at which the punch card expires. The expiry date is determined when the punch card is issued.
* Remaining Uses: The number of uses remaining on this punch card. If it reaches 0, the punch card can no longer be used.
** Expired: The punch card has passed its expiry date and can no longer be used.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why Can't a Punch Card Be Used?
Reason 1: The punch card has expired, has no remaining uses, or has been voided

The punch card may have passed its specified expiry date, all of its available uses may have been exhausted, or may have been voided. It therefore cannot be used again.

* Solution: Ask the customer to use another punch card that is currently valid and has not yet been redeemed.

Reason 2: The order does not meet the punch card plan's usage requirements

The current order does not meet the usage requirements configured in the punch card plan. For example, the total value of eligible products may not meet the minimum spending requirement.

* Solution: Ask the customer to add more eligible products to the order so that it meets the punch card's usage requirements.

Reason 3: The member has reached the usage limit for punch cards under this punch card plan

The number of punch cards under this punch card plan that the member currently holds or has already used has reached the permitted limit, but the member is attempting to use another unassigned punch card under the same punch card plan.

* Solution: Ask the customer to use a valid punch card issued under a different punch card plan.

Vend88 supports various punch card programs that allow members or customers to redeem products, services, or other benefits based on the number of remaining visits or uses.

Main Information
Punch Cards consist of the following two main components:

* Punch Card Plans
* Punch Cards

Punch Card Plans
Punch Card plans are used to centrally configure and manage punch cards. Every punch card must belong to a punch card plan.

A punch card plan contains the following settings:

* Plan Name: The name of the punch card plan.
* Description: A detailed description of the punch card plan.
* Punch Card Type: Sets the type of the punch card plan. You can select either a Percentage Discount Punch Card, a Fixed-Amount Discount Punch Card or a Non-Discount Punch Card.
* Discount Value:
* Advanced Options:

Vend88 supports multiple types of coupons that can be issued to members or customers, allowing them to enjoy discounts and promotional offers when making purchases.

Main Information
Coupons consist of the following two main components:

* Coupon Plans
* Coupons

Coupon Plans
Coupon plans are used to centrally configure and manage coupons. Every coupon must belong to a coupon plan.

A coupon plan contains the following settings:

* Plan Name: The name of the coupon plan.
* Description: A detailed description of the coupon plan.
* Coupon Type: Sets the type of the coupon plan. You can select either a Percentage Discount Coupon or a Fixed-Amount Discount Coupon.
* Status: Sets the current status of the coupon plan. Available statuses include Draft, Active, Paused, and Ended. Coupons can only be issued under a coupon plan with an Active status.
* Validity Rule: Sets the default validity period for newly issued coupons under the plan. You can select one of the following three validity rules:
** Fixed Date: All newly issued coupons under the plan expire on a specified date and time.
*** For example: Set the expiry date and time to 31/12/2025 23:59.
** Fixed Period: Each newly issued coupon expires after a specified period calculated from its issue date.
*** For example: Set each coupon to expire one year after its issue date.
** Set Individually When Issued: The validity period of each coupon is set individually when the coupon is issued.
* Discount Value:
** If the coupon type is a Percentage Discount Coupon: Sets the percentage discount that the coupon applies to an order.
*** For example: A value of 90% means that the customer pays 90% of the original price.
** If the coupon type is a Fixed-Amount Discount Coupon: Sets the amount that the coupon deducts from an order.
*** For example: A value of $5 means that $5 will be deducted from an eligible order.
* Advanced Options:
** Minimum Spend: Sets the minimum order amount required to use the coupon. The coupon can only be used when the order meets this requirement.
** Maximum Discount: Sets the maximum discount amount that can be provided by a single coupon.
*** For example: If the maximum discount is set to $50, applying a 50% discount coupon to a $200 order will deduct no more than $50, rather than $100.
** Issue Limit: Sets the maximum number of coupons that can be issued under the coupon plan. Once this limit has been reached, no additional coupons can be issued under the plan.
** Limit per Member: Sets the maximum number of coupons under the plan that each member may receive or hold.
** Applicable Products: Sets the products to which the coupon can be applied. When the coupon is used, only the selected products are included when determining whether the coupon conditions have been met, and only those products are eligible for the discount.
** Excluded Products: Sets the products to which the coupon cannot be applied. When the coupon is used, the selected products are not included when determining whether the coupon conditions have been met and are not eligible for the discount.

Coupons
A coupon is an individual discount voucher issued under a coupon plan.

Each coupon contains the following information:

* Coupon Plan: The coupon plan to which the coupon belongs.
* Holder: The member who holds the coupon. If no holder is specified, the coupon may be used by any customer. This is commonly used for printed paper coupons.
* Expiry Date: The date and time at which the coupon expires. The expiry date is determined when the coupon is issued.
* Status: The current status of the coupon. Available statuses include:
** Valid: The coupon is currently valid and can be used normally.
** Used: The coupon has already been redeemed and cannot be used again.
** Expired: The coupon has passed its expiry date and can no longer be used.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why Can't a Coupon Be Used?
Reason 1: The coupon has expired, has already been redeemed, or has been voided

The coupon may have passed its specified expiry date, may have already been redeemed in a previous order, or may have been voided. It therefore cannot be used again.

* Solution: Ask the customer to use another coupon that is currently valid and has not yet been redeemed.

Reason 2: The order does not meet the coupon plan's usage requirements

The current order does not meet the usage requirements configured in the coupon plan. For example, the total value of eligible products may not meet the minimum spending requirement.

* Solution: Ask the customer to add more eligible products to the order so that it meets the coupon's usage requirements.

Reason 3: The member has reached the usage limit for coupons under this coupon plan

The number of coupons under this coupon plan that the member currently holds or has already used has reached the permitted limit, but the member is attempting to use another unassigned coupon under the same coupon plan.

* Solution: Ask the customer to use a valid coupon issued under a different coupon plan.

Vend88 supports multiple types of coupons that can be issued to members or customers, allowing them to enjoy discounts and promotional offers when making purchases.

Main Information
Coupons consist of the following two main components:

* Coupon Plans
* Coupons

* Discount Value:
* Advanced Options:

Why can't a customer's membership card be used?
Reason 1: The membership card has expired.

Once a membership card reaches its expiry date, it becomes invalid and can no longer be used.

* Solution: Extend the validity period of the membership card or issue another membership card that is still active.

Reason 2: The member has changed to a different membership card plan, but the digital membership card has not been updated.

After a member switches to a new Membership Card Plan, the card stored in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet may still belong to the previous plan and therefore cannot be used.

* Solution: Ask the member to remove the old digital membership card from Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Then display the membership card QR code in VendPOS and have the member scan it again to add the latest membership card to their wallet.

Vend88 provides a comprehensive Membership Card system, allowing you to create different membership card plans and benefits to deliver tiered membership management and services.

Overview
Membership Cards consist of the following core components:

Membership Card Plans
A Membership Card Plan is used to configure and manage membership cards. Every membership card must belong to a Membership Card Plan.

A Membership Card Plan includes the following settings:

* Plan Name: The name of the membership card plan.
* Description: A detailed description of the membership card plan.
* Card Design: The visual design of the membership card. This design is also used for the digital membership card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.
* Enabled: Determines whether the membership card plan is available for use.
* Points Multiplier: The points multiplier applied when members holding this plan earn points. The default value is 1×. Points earned are calculated by multiplying the base points by this multiplier.
* Tiers: A membership card plan can contain multiple tiers, with each tier offering different membership benefits or discounts.
* Upgrade Rules: Defines how members are promoted to higher tiers. The following upgrade methods are available:
** Upgrade by Accumulated Points: Members are upgraded once their accumulated points reach the specified threshold.
** Upgrade by Single Top-up Amount: Members are upgraded when a single top-up reaches the specified amount.
** Upgrade by Accumulated Top-up Amount: Members are upgraded once their accumulated top-up amount reaches the specified threshold.
* Default Validity Period: Defines the default validity period for newly issued membership cards under this plan. The validity period starts from the issue date and can be configured as either a fixed expiration date or a fixed duration. By default, membership cards are valid for one year from the date of issue.

Membership Cards
A Membership Card is the individual card issued to a member under a Membership Card Plan. It records the member's tier, validity period, status, and other related information.

A Membership Card includes the following settings:

* Plan: The Membership Card Plan to which the card belongs.
* Cardholder: The member who owns the membership card.
* Expiry Date: The expiration date of the membership card.
* Status: The current status of the membership card. Available statuses include:
** Active: The membership card is valid and can be used normally.
** Expired: The membership card has passed its expiry date and can no longer be used.
** Inactive: The membership card has been disabled or voided and cannot be used.
* Tier: The member's current tier within the Membership Card Plan. Different tiers may provide different membership benefits and discounts.

Issuing Membership Cards
To issue a membership card, follow the steps below in VendPOS.

Issue a Card to a New Member
# Click the Members button in the left sidebar.
# Select the member who will receive the membership card.
# On the member details page, locate the MEMBERSHIP CARD PLAN section. If the member does not have a membership card, the message This member does not currently have an active plan. will be displayed. Click ASSIGN NEW PLAN.
#:
# Select a Membership Card Plan. If multiple plans are available, swipe up or down on the card preview on the left to browse different plans.
# Click Confirm in the lower-right corner.
#:

The membership card will then be successfully issued to the member.

Switch a Member to a Different Card Plan
# Click the Members button in the left sidebar.
# Select the member whose membership card plan you want to change.
# On the member details page, locate the Membership Card Plan section and click Change Plan.
# Swipe up or down on the card preview on the left to select a different Membership Card Plan.
# Click Confirm in the lower-right corner.

After the change is confirmed, a new membership card under the selected plan will be issued. The previous membership card will be retained, and its status will be changed to Inactive.

Using Membership Cards
When checking out, members can present their membership card to receive the applicable membership benefits (such as discounts) and earn points according to the rules of their membership card.

Member information can be added to an order in the following ways:

# Scan the Digital Membership Card
#: The member presents their digital membership card stored in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. After the staff scans the QR code on the card, the member will automatically be linked to the current order.
# Search for the Member Manually
#: The member provides their name, phone number, or Member ID, and the staff manually searches for and selects the member in VendPOS.

Frequently Asked Questions
